About the Event

J.D. Webb and The Good God Damn** are a six-piece band blending raw rock grit with soulful, groove-driven storytelling. Fronted by songwriter J.D. Webb—formerly of Philadelphia folk outfit **Apache Trails**—the band draws on years of honest songcraft and road-earned perspective. Webb’s earlier work laid the foundation, but this new chapter digs deeper, trading boot-stomp folk for darker edges, heavier tones, and a wider emotional range.
His 2023 solo EP *Royal Saint Ann Burgundy* peeled things back to their bones, offering a personal, unvarnished look at love, loss, and the in-between. In 2024, The Good God Damn stepped in with new weight and texture on singles like *Nightshade* and *The Champ*, showing off both their brooding dynamics and driving heart. Songs like *Threads* *Pushing On* and *Howl Train Howl* build on the storytelling roots of Webb’s past catalog, now with more heat, depth, and momentum behind them.
Live, the band brings it all to the stage—fiddle, keys, drums, bass, lead guitar, and a frontman who wears every word. Whether it’s a high-octane set or a slow-burn ballad, **J.D. Webb and The Good God Damn** make music that’s lived-in, unfiltered, and built to last.
*For fans of Chris Stapleton, The Wood Brothers, Drive-By Truckers, Nathaniel Rateliff, and with a hint of Tom Waits’ smoky storytelling.
Sug Daniels is a Delaware born, Philadelphia based, singer-songwriter, ukulele player and storyteller who is using the tools around her to capture the emotions of an era. Daniels’ work is as colorful, vulnerable, and charismatic as her personality. She thoughtfully combines elements of folk, rock, and soul alternatives to create personal and tender music interlaced with messages of truth and positive change.

Her single release with Don Giovanni Records “When I’m Gone” garnished well deserved attention from local and regional radio and venues and opened new paths. After years of touring with The Black Opry, playing official showcases in SXSW 2022, and supporting acts such as The Indigo GirlsSarah Shook & The DisarmersMolly Tuttle, and Buffalo Nichols, Daniels is working on her debut studio album “I Believe In You” set to be released September 23 2025.
