Musikarmageddon

Musikarmageddon is back! The Queen is excited to bring back and be hosting Delaware’s premiere battle of the bands, bringing Delaware’s most talented bands toe-to-toe with each other over several weeks of free live voting events at The Queen. Those finalists will battle it out on July 11, 2026 for the coveted MusikArmageddon 2026 Champion title and Grand Prize.

Started in 2007, Musikarmageddon pitted bands in the ultimate battle of supremecy over the next decade. Now, after eight years, Musikarmageddon returns to a new stage for 2026.  This year’s winner will win a Grand Prize of $500 as well as a host of other prizes! For bands that are interested in being considered, please see below – good luck!

HOW DOES IT WORK:

  • Bands apply online for consideration. See information on who can apply below. Deadline to apply is: April 30, 2026
  • The Queen’s judging panel will review all entries and select the Top 12 bands.
  • The Queen will reach out via email provided to notify the Top 12 by May 15, 2026.
  • FOUR Live Voting Events will be held on the dates below, where 3 bands will go head to head in 30 minutes sets in front of a live audience. Only ONE band will advance to the finals, which will be determined by a combination of Judge’s scores and Audience voting.
  • The four preliminary dates will be held in The Crown at The Queen on June 4, June 11, June 18 and June 25.
  • The four finalists from each preliminary will compete at the Musikarmageddon Finals on June 11 to battle it out for the crown. ONE band will rise victorious when the Musikarmageddon 2026 Champion will be determined again by a combination of Judge’s scores and Audience vote. 

WHO CAN APPLY:

  • Original music bands, performing original music only.
  • Bands with a minimum 3 members.
  • Bands must include a drummer.
  • Bands of any genre/ music styling.
  • MUST BE available to perform on the aforementioned Live Voting Event dates, and Finals date.
