Megan Knight is the kind of country you’ve been waiting for. This salt-of-the-earth, unfiltered storyteller has the country twang, rock ’n’ roll swagger, and unassuming pop edge that leaves crowds on the edge of their seats, waiting for the next song. Knight has opened for numerous national touring acts including Zach Top, Tigirlily Gold, Gary Nichols(The SteelDrivers), and Alexandra Kay. She’s performed at several major country festivals including Barefoot Country Music Festival (with Jelly Roll, Ella Langley, and Jordan Davis) and Nashville at the NAC (with Chris Janson), and opened pre-shows for Brad Paisley and Sam Hunt.
A former American Idol contestant, Knight has been featured on CMT, Rolling Stone, E! News, and more. She began touring full-time at thirteen and honed her craft in the legendary Muscle Shoals scene with Gary Nichols, James LeBlanc and Jimmy Nutt. Her 2022 concept EP My Drama struck a chord with fans, and her upcoming full-length LP—set for release May 15, 2026 —features collaborators tied to Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, and Taylor Swift. With over a decade on the road and her biggest work yet on the way, Megan Knight is a name to watch.
