Awake At Last, both as a band and as individuals, continue to stand for positivity, spirituality, self-growth, and making a meaningful impact every day. Following the success of their debut album, The Change, the band returned with renewed intensity on their sophomore release, The Balance, which arrived on February 24, 2023.

Having toured with and supported acts such as Ice Nine Kills, Fit For A King, From Ashes To New, Light The Torch, Adelitas Way, Icon For Hire, and more, Awake At Last built their reputation through relentless touring during The Change album cycle, while also earning strong support from SiriusXM Octane.

The album’s two lead singles, “Bloodline” and “The Other Side,” were written and produced with Erik Ron (Black Veil Brides, I Prevail, Godsmack), setting the tone for a darker and more introspective chapter. Much of The Balance was shaped by the emotional weight and uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. Each song is also paired with a tarot card, reinforcing the album’s larger narrative and thematic depth.

Awake At Last has continued that evolution with their single “Black Masquerade,” a powerful anthem centered on deception, digital distortion, and the search for authenticity in an artificial world. Blending a haunting atmosphere with electrifying instrumentation, the track explores manipulation, mistrust, and a culture consumed by illusion, capturing the unsettling feeling of living in a reality blurred by screens and curated identities.

Their latest release, “Growing Pains,” pushes the band further into raw, unfiltered territory, both sonically and emotionally. Centered on the discomfort of change and the weight of personal evolution, the track embraces the idea that growth isn’t clean, it’s chaotic, painful, and necessary. With a heavier edge and a more vulnerable core, “Growing Pains” reflects the internal battles that come with leveling up, confronting past versions of yourself, and stepping into something unknown. It’s not just about struggle, it’s about transformation through it.
