About the Event

Valentina Sounds is an Italian-born/Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter whose music influences draw inspiration from both continents. Raised as a classical pianist, during her teenage years she ditched Mozart for Led Zeppelin and started performing in rock bands across Italy. In her early twenties, she discovered songwriting, which allowed her to blend her love for rock music with her incredible intuition for hummable melodies.

Valentina Sounds’ music offers a refreshing and hopeful spin on themes that touch everyone’s lives. Her sense of humor brightens the darkness: she has the ability to translate complicated feelings such as anxiety, heartbreak, and regret, into beautifully catchy and upbeat compositions.

Sarcastic, fun, and honest, Valentina is a natural born performer. She will draw you in with powerful vocals, pop/rock arrangements and a magnetic stage presence.

Her newest releases have been featured on WXPN and DE Public Media, as well as gaining recognition on Spotify and YouTube.

Thanks to her recent releases (“Wake Me Up” “Fun” “Count Your Blessings”), Valentina won the Homey Award for Best Female Solo Artist and is nominated again this year for her work on “IDFLDA” and “Monsters”.

Cait9001 is the amplified evolution of singer-songwriter Cait Dempsey. Born and raised in Delaware and now based in Maryland, Cait has been performing for over 15 years, spending five of those years building a name in the local scene as a solo acoustic act and additionally becoming a crew member of the online presence and music show “Koh Show Live” based out of Wilmington Delaware.

In the past year, she expanded her sound, bringing two additional musicians into the mix to transform her emotionally driven songwriting into a dynamic, full-band experience. Blending pop, rock, and indie influences with intimate singer-songwriter roots, Cait9001 delivers songs that feel both personal and powerful.

Richard of Carver is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, studio musician, and artist that has worked extensively in the music industry and region with his solo projects, and bands such as The Thunderbird Family, High Reeper, Katie Dill, It’s All Good, and Cait9001. He has an active solo career as a nightly live-streaming performer and recording artist, with a large original catalog of 200+ songs, and hundreds of live broadcast performances.
